About Our Organization Heart Of Dixie Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit 501(C)3 (applied for) organization that strives to improve the lives of any equine in need. Our rescue equines have arrived here from auctions, brokers, closing PMU farms and as owner surrenders. We will be working with State, County and Local Law Enforcement to provide a safe haven for abused and neglected equines. It is our mission to provide the love and attention that these equines need so that they can be adopted out to their forever home.
We promote public education on proper equine care, along with awareness of equine abuse and neglect issues.
We are located on a 90 acre property in Brooklet, Georgia.
